Spinach, Apple and Carrot Dog Treats

Spinach, Apple and Carrot Dog Treats


  • 4 cups chickpea flour
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup baby carrots
  • 1½ cups fresh spinach
  • ½ apple, cored
  • ¼ cup water


  1. Heat your oven to 350 F.
  2. Blend the flour, oil, and eggs In a medium bowl.
  3. In a blender or food processor, puree the carrots, spinach, apple and water.
  4. Stir the puree into the flour mix until it takes the shape of a solid paste.
  5. Drop tablespoon-sized dollops of the paste onto a nonstick baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, until you can see that the treats are softly browned along the edges and bottom.

These biscuits are really Colourfully, they are bright yellow with green Specks, and that’s simply coming from all of the vegetables and chickpea flour.
